Sarah and Paul’s story

“We came to Bath Fertility after losing hope having had awful treatment at another clinic. We felt confident in choosing the Bath Fertility due to the excellent success rates and the fact that whenever we had contacted the team to ask questions we had been met with friendly, swift responses. Bath Fertility also offered a test that we needed to allow us to make decisions for our next steps.

We met with Mr Sharp and were really pleased with our consultation. We were included in all decision making as a treatment plan was built for us. Mr Sharp was really friendly and put us at ease.

We really appreciated the fact that as we were an hour and a half away from the clinic, the team always did their best to make things easier for us with regards to travelling such as later appointment times and telephone consultations. This made things a lot less stressful for us to manage.

The premises is lovely, really comfortable and always feels empty, and we barely ever had to wait past our appointment time, something that was often a problem at our previous clinic.

When it came to surgical treatment, the ward was really comfortable and felt homely rather than like a hospital. There was always tea and coffee on tap to help yourself to – this sounds small but it really made you feel at home. My husband was always made to feel inclusive of the treatments and welcome, something that was very important to him.

It took us 3 transfers (one sadly ended in a miscarriage) for us to be successful, but we always felt so well looked after that bad news didn’t seem as bad. You always felt completely in safe, trustworthy hands.

The team at Bath Fertility is amazing, it feels like a family, and they genuinely are interested in helping you to achieve your dreams of becoming parents. Special thanks to Helen Miller who did a lot of our appointments, including our successful transfer. She is an absolute gem, her attitude and care really helped us to get through the cycles”.
